Meret’s agent is in favour of Napoli move

Alex Meret’s agent has spoken about the youngster’s future after much speculation regarding his future. He stated that a move to Napoli would probably be the best solution for him and that Meret could become a ‘fan favourite’ at the Serie A club. Napoli spent the majority of last season competing in the Serie A title race against Juventus, only for The Old Lady to pull away and claim the title once again in the final stretch of the campaign.

The 21-year-old has been on the books as a professional with Udinese since 2015, spending two loan spells with SPAL – but now, it seems as if he’s ready to take the next step in his blossoming career as a goalkeeper. Over the course of his two runs with SPAL he made 41 league appearances, proving that he can maintain his form at the highest level. Earlier this year he also debuted with the Italy under-21s.
