Merseyside rivals vying for Tello; Honda set for AC Milan exit

Portuguese media outlet A Bola has learned that Liverpool and Everton are among clubs showing interest in Barcelona winger Cristian Tello.

The 24-year-old has shown a great deal of potential since arriving at Estadio do Dragao, but he may be on the move come end of the season.

Namely, Tello’s loan deal with FC Porto is due to expire in June and he has already made it clear that he will not be returning to Camp Nou.

According to A Bola, several English sides are keen on the La Masia graduate, with Liverpool and Everton reportedly leading the chase.

Tello impressed to score 7 league goals in his first season with the Dragons, but he has not played regularly this term.

The talented winger was often left out of the starting line-up in important matches, which is enough to suggest that an extended stay at Estadio do Dragao is highly unlikely.

Honda set for AC Milan exit

AC Milan aim to offload Japanese midfielder Keisuke Honda in the January window, according to Domenica Sportiva, a programme on Italian TV channel RAI.

The Rossoneri aim to further reshuffle their squad in the winter transfer window, with four players apparently on the transfer list.

And while Suso, Jose Mauri and Antonio Nocerino are expected to leave on loan, Keisuke Honda looks set for a permanent exit.

Following a very successful season last term, the 29-year-old has found himself on the fringes under Sinisa Mihajlovic and he is no longer regarded an important member of the squad.

And with clubs from England and Spain showing a keen interest in his services, AC Milan officials believe the time is right to cash in on the experienced footballer.

Keisuke Honda joined the Rossoneri on a free transfer from CSKA Moscow in January 2014 and has since bagged 7 goals in 51 Serie outings.

Benfica agree deal for Serbian starlet

Benfica have reached an agreement to sign Serbian winger Andrija Zivkovic from Partizan Belgrade, Record can reveal.

It is no secret that the Eagles have been hot on the trail of the Under-20 World Cup star for quite a while, but the latest reports suggest a transfer has already been agreed.

According to Record, Benfica chairman Luis Felipe Vieira presented the player with a five-year contract last month that was eventually accepted.

And even though the Eagles could sign the 19-year-old on a free transfer at the end of the season, they plan to purchase his contract in January so as to avoid some of the other interested sides hijacking their deal.

Andrija Zivkovic is widely regarded as one of Serbia’s hottest prospects and he has already scored 15 goals in 58 league appearances.

The youngster should be in the side when Partizan face Athletic on the road on Thursday evening, where los Leones are 3/10 favourites to emerge victorious.
