According to recent reports over in France, Thomas Meunier is likely to leave Paris Saint-Germain at the end of the current season. His contract with the French champions is set to expire in 2020, and there are believed to be no discussions in place to extend his current deal. The move would bring an end to his three year spell with the club, which has certainly had its up and downs. Meunier, who won a bronze medal at the 2018 FIFA World Cup with Belgium last year, has only started 13 league games in Ligue 1 throughout the course of the current season.
His most notable spell came in his homeland of Belgium, where he spent five years with Club Brugge. He then made the transition over to PSG, where he’s never really been able to catch fire as many were anticipating.
There will likely be a series of top European clubs waiting to speak with the 27 year old about a potential deal.
