Swansea goalkeeper Michel Vorm has admitted that he would like to be reunited with Brendan Rodgers at Anfield.
Liverpool are reportedly pondering a move for the Netherlands international as Pepe Reina nears summer exit, with Brendan Rodgers obviously well aware of the player’s qualities having coached him at the Liberty Stadium.
Michel Vorm, 29, has now admitted that he would consider joining the Reds if Pepe Reina leaves the club.
“A reunion with Rodgers would be special. The collaboration was very good last season,” Vorm told Voetbal International.
“But for now Pepe Reina is Liverpool’s first goalkeeper, and it is not an issue.”
Michel Vorm proved to be a major bargain for Swansea, having largely impressed at Liberty Stadium after making £1.5 million move from Utrecht.
The Dutchman is, however, widely tipped to leave the Swans for greener pastures in the summer, with top European clubs casting admiring glances his way.
Liverpool and Barcelona are both rumoured to be interested in the highly rated shot-stopper, while Arsenal have also watched the player on several occasions this season.
