Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi is said to be edging closer to joining La Liga side Valencia on a season-long loan, the Spanish sources have reported.
El Desmarque claims that several clubs have expressed interest in the Belgium forward who spent the last half of the season on loan at Borussia Dortmund. The 24-year-old striker enjoyed a prolific spell in the Bundesliga, scoring nine goals in 14 appearances. Dortmund are said to be willing to extend his stay but Sevilla and Valencia have all joined the race.
The player himself is understood to prefer a move to Spain with Los Che now sitting in pole position to land the Belgian.
Valencia and Chelsea are already in advanced stages of the negotiating process and a loan deal for Michy Batshuayi is said to be close to completion.
