Middlesbrough 31/20 to beat Norwich in Saturdays Championship showdown

Competition: Championship

Market: Middlesbrough win

Odds: 31/20 @ Bet 365

Enjoying a tremendous start to the season and tipped by many to secure a spot back in the Premier League, Tony Pulis’ side will look to carry on their impressive start to the season when they travel to Norwich on Saturday afternoon.

Starting with the hosts, while many expected Norwich to make a push for the Top Six under Daniel Farke, The Canneries have struggled with their consistency at the start of the new season. Although a 3-1 win saw them knock Premier League side Cardiff out of the League Cup last month, Norwich could only play out a 1-1 draw with East Anglia rivals Ipswich before the international break. Picking up just five points out of a possible 18, The Yellows are yet to keep a clean sheet in any competition and keeping out Pulis’ side could be a huge task on Saturday.

As for the visitors, although Tony Pulis may not have invested in his squad like he would have hoped, Middlesbrough have enjoyed a stellar start to the new campaign. Playing out a 0-0 draw with fellow high flyers Leeds in their last Championship outing, Boro are yet to be beaten in any competition this season. Conceding just two goals in their opening six matches, The Reds hold the best defensive record in the division and are tipped by many for automatic promotion. Keeping a clean sheet in their last five Championship matches on the bounce, we’re backing Pulis’ side to come away with yet another three points on Saturday.
