Competition: Championship
Market: Middlesbrough to win against Leeds United
Odds: 4/7 @ Betfair

Championship high-flyers Middlesbrough host Leeds United this afternoon, and are hoping to close the gap on leaders Brighton & Hove Albion by coming out on top. The North-East outfit are coming off the back of fantastic form in the second tier, while their Yorkshire opponents have seen wins few and far between in recent weeks to threaten a shock away win.

Boro are second in the table, four points behind Brighton after eight games. The gap could be narrowed to a single point if they can deliver in their own backyard today, and given the hosts have picked up four consecutive league wins, Aitor Karanka’s side should have no problem delivering at the Riverside Stadium.

As for Leeds, the Whites are 12 places below the favourites, and have only picked up two league wins from their eight games. United have dropped points in four of their last six Championship outings, and will have a stern task in halting Middlesbrough’s momentum. As a result, Betfair are giving odds of 4/7 for the home side to pick up all three points against Leeds.
