Middlesbrough eye loan deal for West Bromwich Albion winger Kamil Grosicki

Middlesbrough are interested in signing Kamil Grosicki from West Bromwich Albion in the January transfer window, according to The Sunday Mirror (print edition, page 65, November 1, 2020). It has been reported that Middlesbrough manager Neil Warnock wants to sign the 32-year-old winger on a loan deal.

Nottingham Forest reportedly wanted to sign the Poland international winger from West Brom in the summer transfer window. However, an arbitration panel ruled that the paperwork missed the cut-off, and the potential transfer did not materialise. The Reds could make a move for the winger again when the window opens in January, but it seems that they will now face competition from Championship rivals Middlesbrough.

Grosicki joined West Brom from Hull City in January 2020. The winger made four starts and 10 substitute appearances in the Championship for the Baggies during the second half of last season, scoring one goal and providing three assists in the process, according to WhoScored.
