The Daily Mail has learned that Premier League strugglers Middlesbrough are readying bid for Stoke City forward Bojan Krkic.
Boro are still very much involved in the relegation tussle and having scored just 17 goals in 21 Premier League fixtures, they are in the market for attacking reinforcements.
Manager Aitor Karanka believes that Bojan Krkic can be a much needed link between midfield and attack, and he is eager to bring him to Riverside in the January window.
It is believed that Middlesbrough are ready to shell out around £9 million for the wantaway forward.
Stoke City boss Mark Hughes recently admitted Bojan was unhappy at the lack of playing time and the Potters will probably consider serious offers for his services.
The former Barcelona starlet has done well since moving to Britannia Stadium, having managed 15 goals and 3 assists in 60 competitive outings, but his spell with the Potters is clearly drawing to a close.
