Dynamo Kiev midfielder Miguel Veloso has moved to deny speculation linking him with a summer move away from the club.
The 29-year-old is in his fourth season with the Ukrainian giants and with his contract coming to an end this summer, he has been linked with a return to Italian Serie A.
However, Veloso has made it clear that he is fully focused on Dynamo, albeit revealing that he has not been offered a contract extension by the club.
“I love Dynamo and I always did my best to help the team to reach every objective possible. The news that are coming out are all false,” Veloso wrote in his Facebook account.
“I have a contract with Dynamo till the end of June and I will continue to do my best to help the team.I have not renewed the contract because until now, Nobody, neither the President or anyone else, ever talked to me about the chance to renew my contract.”
Following successful spells with Sporting Lisbon and Genoa, Veloso surprised everyone when he decided to join Dynamo Kiev in the summer of 2012, but he continues to be linked with Europe’s top clubs.
The holding midfielder has managed to play himself back into the first team plans of Portugal head coach Fernando Santos and he stands a decent chance of making the Selecao squad for the Euro 2016 finals.
