Jon Obi Mikel has dismissed reports that he could be set to secure a move to Everton in January, according to the Mail Online.
The Nigeria international swapped the Premier League for the Chinese Super League after over ten years with Chelsea.
Everton, who have been climbing up the table since appointing Sam Allardyce as their new manager last month had been linked with a move for the thirty year old, though he has insisted that he is happy playing for Tianjin Teda.
During his time at Stamford Bridge, Mikel racked up three hundred and seventy-four appearances for the club in all competitions, scoring six goals.
He also won a whole host of trophies along the way, including two Premier League titles, four FA Cups, two League Cups, the Europa League and the Champions League.
Internationally, he has been capped eighty-two times for his country, scoring a total of six goals.
