(GSM) – Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini claims Milan and Barcelona are interested in signing Eastlands’ unsettled Brazilian Robinho.
Robinho is unhappy in England and looks likely to move away from Manchester after confirming he wants to move to Spain or Italy.
Robinho wanted to remain at Santos but the Brazilian club does not have the resources to agree a transfer deal with City.
Meanwhile the Brazil forward has snubbed an offer from Turkey.
“With Robinho we must wait,” he said. “We have another five days.”
When asked about the clubs interested in Robinho, Mancini said: “I think Milan, Barca, Fenerbahce, Besiktas. I think these teams. I think Santos want to take the loan.”
Reports in Spain have suggested Barca would be interested in a swap deal involving Robinho and Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
However, Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani – whose club want to sign Ibrahimovic – says Robinho is Milan’s back-up option should a potential move for Ibrahimovic fall through.
Galliani told Sky Italia: “Robinho is the alternative to Ibrahimovic, but we want the Swedish striker.”
Ibrahimovic will soon make up his mind over his future, according to his agent, Mino Raiola. “It’s a delicate choice, but on Friday he’ll make note of his decision and respond to Milan,” he said.
