Italian daily Il Corriere dello Sport understands that AC Milan and Inter could enter a real bidding war for Bari starlet Nicola Bellomo in the summer transfer window.
Bellomo, 22, has been impressing in this year’s Serie B, and his scintillating showings have seen him attract attention of top Italian clubs.
According to Il Corriere dello Sport, AC Milan and Inter are currently leading the race for the player’s signature, but Roma are also keen.
Derby della Madonnina rivals both attempted to sign the youngster in the January transfer window and are expected to reignite their interest at the end of the season.
Nicola Bellomo is regarded as the biggest talent to have come out of Bari’s youth academy since Antonio Cassano and he has been showing great maturity for his fragile age.
The talented midfielder has started 23 league games for Serie B strugglers this term and scored 6 goals in the process.
