AC Milan and AS Roma are both interested in signing Adama Traore on a free transfer, following the expiration of his contract with Wolverhampton Wanderers, according to Sky in Italy.
The 27-year-old winger, considered a player of huge potential in his youth, has surprisingly low numbers in terms of being an attacking threat. In 194 Premier League matches in his career so far, he’s only scored 10 goals and produced 18 assists. Basically, a goal and two assists every half-season. Boasting incredible pace and tricky feet, this is an extremely worrying output level.
Nonetheless, Milan’s interest in his services is believed to be alive for several months now. The Rossoneri are also considered favourites in a potential race against Roma, having Champions League football next season to offer.
Traore is a product of the famous La Masia academy at Barcelona, and apart from Wolves, he’s played for Aston Villa, Middlesbrough, and spent the second half of 2021/22 on loan back at Barcelona.
