Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport understands that AC Milan could make a move on PSG forward Ezequiel Lavezzi.
The Rossoneri have made Verona’s Juan Manuel Iturbe their number one target as they look for attacking reinforcements following the departure of Kaka.
However, with the Argentine also followed by few more top clubs, AC Milan could turn their attention towards long-term target Ezequiel Lavezzi.
The experienced forward wouldn’t mind returning to Italian Serie A, while the €15 million asking price appears well within the Rossoneri’s price range.
However, the player’s €4.5 million yearly wage is likely to be a problem, especially with the club finally balancing the books by offloading Ricky Kaka.
AC Milan officials are also looking at Torino star Alessio Cerci, but the Italy international could prove to be a difficult target as well.
Ezequiel Lavezzi is expected to be in the starting line-up when Argentina face Belgium in the World Cup quarter-final, where los Albicelestes are 6/5 to win in regular time.
