French daily newspaper L’Equipe has learned that AC Milan have submitted an offer for Paris Saint-Germain defender Alex.
The Brazilian is widely tipped to leave Parc des Princes when his contract expires in the summer and he should have no shortage of offers.
According to L’Equipe, AC Milan have moved to the front of the queue by offering the Brazilian a two-year contract.
The Rossoneri are on the lookout for defensive reinforcements and they are convinced the experienced centre0back would be a great signing for the club.
Alex has largely impressed since joining PSG from Chelsea, making 60 league appearances for the Saints and scoring 6 goals.
He has formed an excellent defensive partnership with compatriot Thiago Silva, but it appears the French giants plan to offload him in order to make way for summer signing Marquinhos.
Alex is clearly capable of playing at the high level for few more years, so no wonder a club like Milan are showing interest.
