According to Goal.com, Serie A giants AC Milan and Internazionale are both keen on Manchester United midfielder Anderson.
Sir Alex Ferguson is willing to sell the former FC Porto star for £15m. The Brazilian cost the English Premier League giants £25.6m back in 2007, and only featured in 10 league games last season.
“Anderson has not kicked on as the club hoped,” revealed an anonymous source. “With Inter and AC interested, United would certainly be willing to let him go – for the right price.”
Furthermore, the signing of Shinji Kagawa will surely lead to less playing for the 24-year-old at Old Trafford.
All signs are suggesting an exit for the talented Brazilian at the moment.
However, I think United would be wise to keep him around for at least another year. Despite the addition of Kagawa, Fergie’s side are not very strong in the midfield, and losing Paul Pogba to Juventus didn’t help either.
Shinji Kagawa eyeing central midfield role at United
Manchester United summer signing Shinji Kagawa has the ability to play numerous position, but has admitted that he is hoping to play in the center of the pitch for the Red Devils next season.
“I want to play [in the hole], I feel that’s where I play my best football. I plan to work hard so I can win my place in the position,” the Japan international told United’s official website.
“United are one of the biggest clubs in the world, and I have been given a chance to play for them. I took a lot of things into consideration, like the fact that they’ve got a deep squad, their style of football and it wasn’t an easy decision. But I wanted the challenge.”
Kagawa bagged 13 goals and eight assists in 31 appearances for German Bundesliga champions Borussia Dortmund in 2011-12, and was subsequently named to the European Sports Media’s European Team of the Season.
The Japanese midfield maestro has the talent and quality to feature in Manchester United’s starting XI from day one.
In fact, he’s arguably the best midfielder on the Red Devils’ books at the moment, which is one reason why Kagawa has been tipped by many to succeed at Old Trafford.
Former South Korea international Ji-Sung Park is one of the many who believes that Kagawa will be a star in Manchester.
It’s hard to disagree with Park, especially when taking Kagawa’s form with club and country into account. He’s been on form for two years now, which suggests that he’s tremendous class because form is temporary and class is permanent.
