Chelsea’s Christian Pulisic has been heavily linked with a move to AC Milan in the last couple of days. There is still no agreement in place, but the negotiations between the two clubs are ongoing and according to Fabrizio Romano, the Rossoneri are confident of getting it over the line. Apparently, they feel an agreement will be reached in the next day or two, and Pulisic is believed to have asked Chelsea to leave in order to pursue a new challenge elsewhere.
Chelsea signed the USA international originally in January 2019 for a reported fee of €64 million, and sent him back on loan for the rest of the season as part of the agreement. He started playing for the Blues later that year, and in 145 matches in all competitions, he scored 26 goals and laid on 21 assists.
Once thought of as an electric winger of bright future, the 24-year-old so far hasn’t lived up to expectations, with frequent and numerous injuries constantly impeding his progress. Since joining Chelsea, he has missed a total of 56 competitive games through various fitness issues.
