Spanish newspaper AS reports that Milan full-back Didac Vila is edging closer to Valencia switch.
The 23-year-old was left out of Max Allegri’s 26-man squad for the pre-season tour of United States, which is a clear indication that he will leave San Siro this summer.
This will come as welcoming news for Valencia officials, who have identified Vila as a potential replacement for Jordi Alba.
After failing to lure Granada defender Giulherme Siqueira to Mestalla, los Che have turned their attention to the former Espanyol man.
Didac Villa made a switch to Milan in January 2011, but he was then loaned back to Espanyol after making just one Serie A appearance for the Rossoneri.
The talented left-back was in fine form last season, scoring 2 goals in 37 La Liga matches for Cornella El Prat outfit, but it looks as though that was not enough for Milan boss Max Allegri to change his opinion about the player.
