Italian giants Milan are looking into the possibility of signing Boca Juniors youngster Rodrigo Bentancur during the summer transfer window.
The 19-year-old Uruguay talent has emerged as a primary target for Rossoneri, who are going head to head against Juventus in their efforts to sign the highly-rated midfielder.
It is believed that Milan have already submitted an offer for Boca Juniors starlet worth €12 million, which exceeds the fee of €10 million Argentinean giants are looking to get for their gem.
Rossoneri have even started negotiating personal terms with the player himself, who was reportedly offered a five-year deal and €1.5 million in wages per season.
A substantial offer for such a young player only shows Milan’s determination to land the talented Uruguay midfielder, who is touted to make a huge name for himself in Europe.
A deal is still far from being completed as Milan are still waiting for Juventus.
Namely, Italian champions have set their sights on the talented player last summer when Carlos Tevez returned to his former club as the Old Lady has agreed a buy-in option for Rodrigo Bentancur.
Serie A champions reportedly do not intend to exercise the option and Milan now stand in pole position to sign the player.
