Italian giants AC Milan are no longer interested in Brazilian Luis Fabiano. The Serie A side had been trying to persuade Sevilla for a while but the two clubs failed to reach an agreement.

Sevilla wanted Milan to match the player’s buy-out clause, but the Italians refused to do so.

The Rossoneri are looking for more strength up front following the departure of Kaka to Real Madrid. Negotiations with Wolfsburg’s Edin Dzeko failed and Fabiano’s future appears to be well away from San Siro as well.

Fabiano plays in Europe since 2004. After a year at FC Porto, the now 28-year-old joined Sevilla. Last month, the Brazilian helped his national team to win the FIFA Confederations Cup.
