The Rossoneri hope to lure the former Torino star back to Italy following the disappointing start to his career in La Liga, although arch rivals Inter Milan are also believed to be keen.
At the same time they are showing interest in Guangzhou attacker Alessandro Diamanti, who seem ready to return to Italian Serie A. The 31-year-old has failed to impress in China, scoring just 4 goals in 24 league appearances.
