Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport understands that AC Milan are weighing up a summer move for Real Madrid goalkeeper Diego Lopez.
The Rossoneri are hoping to sign a long-term replacement for veteran keeper Christian Abbiati, and the Spaniard is reportedly high on their hit-list.
New boss Clarence Seedorf has been impressed by Diego Lopez and he will attempt to lure him to San Siro at the end of the season.
The problem is that Real Madrid are unlikely to be too interested in selling their number one, although a hefty offer could change their minds.
Diego Lopez did brilliantly to nail down a regular starting berth at Santiago Bernabeu following the arrival from Villarreal, replacing club icon Iker Casillas between the sticks.
He has kept his place in the side after Carlo Ancelotti took over the reigns, having started all 26 league matches, although it is Casillas who plays in the Champions League and Copa del Rey.
