Il Corriere dello Sport understands that AC Milan are set to launch an assault on AS Roma striker Mattia Destro.
The Rossoneri have just a week to sign a replacement for Liverpool-bound Mario Balotelli and the Italy international is one of their top targets.
Destro will not come on the cheap though as the Giallorossi are holding out for €30 million, although their asking price is negotiable.
Even if he was unable to nail down a regular starting berth at Stadio Olimpico, the 23-year-old has shown a great deal of potential, scoring 13 goals in in just over 1,200 minutes of league football last season.
Destro remains regarded as one of world’s most talented forwards, but it appears he will quit Roma unless he is guaranteed regular playing time.
Chelsea and Tottenham are believed to be keen on his services as well, but neither of the two sides are expected to make a late move.
