Italian giants AC Milan are considering summer moves for Mateo Musacchio and Piotr Zielinski, Tuttosport has revealed.
The Rossoneri will have money to spend as Carlos Bacca nears a summer exit and the Villarreal defender is one of the first players on their hit-list.
With Cristian Zapata set for a lengthy spell on the sidelines, AC Milan officials plan to sign Musacchio as a short-term replacement.
However, the Argentine, too, has had plenty of problems with injury of late, making just 27 league appearances over the last two years.
Meanwhile, AC Milan are planning an ambitious bid for Udinese starlet Piotr Zielinski, who is valued at €20 million.
Having shown a great deal of potential during the loan stint with Empoli, the Polish midfielder is now one of the hottest commodities in Europe, and he has so far been linked with Liverpool, Man City, Napoli and Roma, among other clubs.
