AC Milan are considering a January swoop for AS Roma defender Nicolas Burdisso, reports Il Corriere dello Sport.
Despite reinforcing their back line with the loan signing of Adil Rami, the Rossoneri are also keen on the Argentine defender.
Considering that Burdisso’s deal with AS Roma is due to expire at the end of the current campaign, Milan are hoping to sign the veteran stopper for a nominal fee.
Nicolas Burdisso has long ago lost his place in the starting line-up at Stadio Olimpico and has only made one league appearance for the Serie A leaders this term.
Prior to joining the Giallorossi, the Argentine had featured for Boca Juniors and Inter Milan, and it remains to be seen if he would be interested in joining the Nerazzurri’s local rivals.
AC Milan already sit 10 points adrift of European positions, meaning they need to try and win the away clash against Chievo, with away triumph available at evens.
