(GSM) – Leonardo believes Milan are on the verge of the most important month of the season.
The Brazilian coach has urged his players to stay calm ahead of the matches against Udinese and Manchester United.
At the same time, Leonardo has told Milan not to lose their fighting spirit.
“This is the most important month of Milan’s season,” he told the press.
“There is no time to change, we have to stay tranquil, but not lose the anger, pride and will we have inside.
“We cannot forget where we started and where we are now. We have worked well, often in difficult conditions.”
The gap with Internazionale is eleven points, but Leonardo believes there is a chance to make up ground.
“Inter’s draw against Parma has given us the opportunity to reduce the divide, but we have to think about things game by game,” he concluded.
The first match of the crucial month is scheduled for Friday when the Rossoneri take on Udinese.
