Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport understands that AC Milan have secured the first option on Benfica winger Eduardo Salvio.
The Rossoneri allowed talented youngster Bryan Cristante to join the Eagles this summer, and were in turn criticised for letting one of club’s hottest prospects leave.
However, Milan management seem to have done a good job after all seeing as how they have also been given the right of first refusal on Benfica star Eduardo Salvio.
The 24-year-old is widely tipped to leave the Eagles for greener pastures in the near future and the Rossoneri have a good chance of winning the race for the player’s signature.
Even if Salvio has a €60 million buy-out clause in his contract, Milan hope to get their man for a fee between €25m and €30m.
The Rossoneri host Chievo tomorrow hoping to end a three-match winless run in the league, and they are 2/5 to claim maximum points.
