AC Milan are planning a January swoop for Cagliari midfielder Radja Nainggolan, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.
The highly rated footballer is also followed by Inter Milan and Juventus, but the Rossoneri hope to beat their rivals for the player’s signature.
Milan have already had a €9 million bid for co-ownership of Nainggolan rejected in the summer, but they are not yet prepared to give up.
The Rossoneri are in desperate need of midfield reinforcements and are widely tipped to make a move on their long-term target in January.
Nainggolan is regarded as one of Serie A’s top midfielders and it is only a matter of time before he leaves Cagliari for a bigger club.
His suitors Milan are going through a very rough patch at the moment, seeing as how they are 16 points adrift of top 3 positions, but the Rossoneri are 7/4 to return to winning ways against Inter Milan.
