(GSM) – Milan and Internazionale have been linked with Real Madrid star Kaká, according to reports emanating from Italy.
Milan star Ronaldinho and Internazionale captain Javier Zanetti stated that they would welcome the former Milan attacking midfielder should he move back to the Italian city.
Kaká’s future has been the subject of speculation after he failed to shine in his debut season at Real Madrid following last summer’s move to Estadio Santiago Bernabéu.
The Brazil star’s father and agent was spotted at Milan’s headquarters on Thursday but the Italian club quickly brushed away rumors of the player’s return to San Siro.
But Ronaldinho would be happy to see his former teammate make a return to San Siro.
“If he did return to Milan I would welcome him. He is a great champion and made history with this club,” said Ronaldinho.
On the other hand, Zanetti would also welcome Kaká should the latter choose to join the Nerazzurri in the future.
“Kaka is a great champion and, if he comes, he will reinforce an already strong group,” said Zanetti.
“We would be happy to have him. He would be received with open arms just like any other champion.”
Earlier this week, Inter president Massimo Moratti dismissed reports the club have tabled a bid for the Brazil international.
