Serie A side AC Milan have already identified a possible replacement for Carlos Bacca, who has been tipped to leave Rossoneri in the summer transfer window.
According to reports from La Gazzetta dello Sport, Milan are ready to replace the Colombian striker with his compatriot Luis Muriel.
Sampdoria striker was linked with Milan city rivals Inter during the winter transfer market and a possible move to bitter foes would be a dagger in Nerazzurri’s heart. The 26-year-old forward admitted earlier last week that Inter are an option, but the latest report claim that a move to Milan is also a possibility.
Muriel has been in Italy since 2010 when he joined Lecce, before moving to Sampdoria in 2015.
The Colombia striker has 11 goals on his tally this season, while he also managed 7 assists in 26 games in the current campaign.
Luis Muriel is thought to be the ideal replacement for Bacca, who is failing to live up to his billing under Vincenzo Montella this season.
