AC Milan are interested in signing Denzel Dumfries from PSV Eindhoven, according to Tuttosport.
The 22-year-old passed through the youth setups at several Dutch clubs before arriving to Heerenven in 2017. A year later, he moved to PSV for €5.5 million. This season he made a total of 40 appearances in all competition for the club, scoring eight goals and laying on four assists. He has accumulated nine caps for Netherlands so far.
The Rossoneri are having troubles on the right defensive flank, and they are apparently looking to resolve the problem by adding Dumfries to their ranks. What’s more, they believe their efforts will be aided by the fact that Dumfries recently hired the services of superagent Mino Raiola, who already represents two of their players – goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma and centre-back Alessio Romagnoli.
The contract of the young defender, however, is set to run for three more years, which means the seven-time European champions will probably have to pay a significant amount for his services if they are to complete the move.
