AC Milan are stepping up their efforts to sign Dinamo Zagreb midfielder Marcelo Brozovic, Tuttosport reports.
The Rossoneri are determined to recruit a new central midfielder in January and they are currently hot on the trail of the Croatian starlet.
Even if Arsenal and Inter Milan are believed to be keen as well, AC Milan are the only side making concrete moves at the moment.
The Rossoneri are in constant contact with the player’s agent, while they have been told it would take €8 million to prize Brozovic away from Dinamo Zagreb.
AC Milan have seen a €4 million bid swiftly rejected and it is perfectly clear they will have to raise their offer if they want to get their man.
Marcelo Brozovic has quickly developed into an important player for both club and country, and he started all four Euro 2016 qualifiers for Croatia, scoring one goal in the process.
