Italian giants AC Milan are keen to add Borussia Dortmund striker Ciro Immobile to their ranks in the summer, Tuttosport has suggested.
The Millionaires are reportedly ready to offload the Italian forward after he struggled to prove his worth following the summer switch from Torino.
And while Fiorentina and Napoli are believed to be keen on his signature, AC Milan were the first side to make a concrete move.
According to Tuttosport, the Rossoneri wasted no time as vice-president Adriano Galliani met with the player’s agent Alessandro Moggi.
Milan officials are still debating whether to turn Mattia Destro’s loan deal into permanent move and they may decide to go with Immobile instead.
The striker, who finished the previous season as Serie A’s top goalscorer, has only managed 3 goals in 17 league appearances, albeit netting four times in six Champions League outings.
Despite the lack of first team action, Immobile should start for Italy against Bulgaria tomorrow, with the Azzurri 9/10 to win in Sofia.
