Milan join race for Anderlecht striker

Italian media outlet Tuttosport is reporting that AC Milan are hot on the trail of Serbian striker Aleksandar Mitrovic.

It is no secret the Rossoneri are in the market for attacking reinforcements and their scouts have lately been keeping close tabs on the Anderlecht star.

The youngster already has a long list of admirers that includes Roma, Fiorentina, Benfica and Sporting Lisbon, and he is widely tipped to leave Belgium for greener pastures in the summer.

And while Anderlecht have slapped a €14 million price tag on his services, it is believed he could be acquired for some €12 million.

Aleksandar Mitrovic enjoyed a bright start to his career in Belgium, scoring 30 goals in 59 league appearances, while notching 2 goals in 11 Champions League matches.

The 20-year-old has also nailed down a regular starting berth in the Serbian national team, earning 11 caps, but he was largely disappointing in the recent Euro 2016 qualifying defeat to Portugal.
