Milan join race for Juan Bernat

AC Milan are the latest high-profile club to have joined the chase for Valencia full-back Juan Bernat, according to Super Deporte.

The Rossoneri had their scouts present at the Europa League fixture between los Che and Ludogorets last Thursday with the sole purpose of seeing the talented defender in action.

Unfortunately for AC Milan officials, Bernat was left out of the starting line-up due to a back problem, but he did spend last twenty minutes on the pitch after replacing Jose Gaya.

It is no secret the Rossoneri are on the lookout for a new left-sided defender, and the Spaniard appears to be high on their wish list.

And with his contract due to expire in June 2015, Bernat is likely to be available on a cut-price deal, but the problem is the youngster has a long list of suitors among Europe’s top clubs.

Having finally ended a four-match losing run in all competitions, AC Milan are available at 12/5 to defeat Fiorentina at Artemio Franchi.
