Milan keen on Bayern star duo

Milan have shown interest in Bayern Munich stars Bastian Schweinsteiger and Miroslav Klose, according to Tuttosport.

After winning the Serie A title, the Rossoneri are looking to further reinforce the squad in the summer, and they are widely thought to be looking for a back-up striker and a left midfielder.

Milan chiefs are reportedly keen on Bayern midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger, who is expected to add creativity and battling approach to the left side of midfield.

Even though the Germany international has recently renewed his contract with the Bavarians, he could decide to leave the club in the summer, following the dismissal of coach Louis van Gaal.

The Rossoneri are keeping tabs on another Bayern player, Miroslav Klose, who is seen as a perfect understudy for Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

The experienced forward should be available on a free transfer as his contract with Bayern is set to expire in June, with Milan set to jump at the opportunity to sign the prolific striker.
