Fiorentina defender Manuel Pasqual has emerged as one of AC Milan’s top targets for the January transfer window, Tuttosport can reveal.
After securing the signature of former Torino star Alessio Cerci, the Rossoneri are expected to bring in few more players this winter.
Tuttosport has learned that coach Pippo Inzaghi aims to sign a new left-sided defender in the January window, with Fiorentina’s Manuel Pasqual the first name on his hit-list.
The Viola captain has lost his place in the starting line-up this term and with his contract due to expire at the end of the current campaign, he is almost certain to leave in the coming weeks.
And with the defender having performed at a very high level over the last few years, it is hardly surprising the Rossoneri hope to lure him to San Siro.
Manuel Pasqual, 32, joined Fiorentina from Arezo back in 2005 and has since featured in 272 Serie A matches, scoring 5 goals.
