Milan keeping tabs on Cruzeiro full-back

Milan have shown  interest in Cruzeiro defender Jonathan Cicero Moreira as they look to reinforce their back line in January.

Club sporting director Ariedo Braida has flown to Brazil in order to see the 24-year-old in action with the Rossoneri seriously thinking about making a move for Jonathan in January.

Milan are really short on full-backs at the moment and they are looking to address that problem as soon as possible in order to improve their chances of winning the Serie A title this season.

The only problem with Jonathan is that he doesn’t hold a European passport despite his efforts to acquire it, so that could make Milan look elsewhere.

The Rossoneri are also tracking Benfica defender Fabio Coentrao, who would certainly be much more expensive than Jonathan.
