AC Milan are weighing up a January bid for Hellas Verona midfielder Jorginho, reports Il Corriere dello Sport.
The Rossoneri are on the lookout for midfield reinforcements and they were heavily linked with a move for Cagliari star Radja Nainggolan.
However, given the lack of progress in the negotiations with Isolani, Milan look set to switch their attention to Hellas Verona hotshot Jorginho.
The 22-year-old has been one of club’s star performers in what has been an amazing start to the season for Gialloblu, having managed 7 goals and 3 assists in 16 Serie A outings.
He has in turn earned a lot of admirers among Italy’s top clubs, but AC Milan appear to be leading the chase at the moment.
The interesting thing is that Hellas Verona sit ten points clear of the Rossoneri in the league standings, but AC Milan are 4/9 to return to winning ways against Atalanta.
