AC Milan are keeping close tabs on Zenit full-back Domenico Criscito, Russian newspaper Izvestia has revealed.
The Rossoneri are currently short of options on the left flank, which has seen midfielder Kevin Constant and right-back Mattia De Sciglio deployed as left-backs this season.
It is for that reason that boss Max Allegri is eager to sign a high-profile left-back in the summer transfer window and has reportedly set his sights on Zenit defender Domenico Criscito.
The Italy international joined the Russian giants in a €15 million move from Genoa and quickly became a key player in Luciano Spalletti’s squad.
He is currently happy to remain in Russia, although recent reports are suggesting he would consider a return to Italian Serie A at the end of the season.
Even so, Zenit would not be prepared to let him leave on the cheap, while his €3 million yearly wage could also prove to be a problem.
