AC Milan are weighing up move for Sampdoria midfielders Andrea Poli and Pedro Obiang, Il Corriere dello Sport has revealed.
It is no secret the Rossoneri plan to sign a central midfielder in January, but most of their targets have proved to be very difficult to acquire.
After failing in their efforts to sign Kevin Strootman, Radja Nainggolan, Juraj Kucka and Francesco Lodi, Milan chiefs decided to alter their strategy.
They have now decided to turn their attention towards talented players that can be signed for a reasonable price.
Il Corriere dello Sport understands that Sampdoria starlets Andrea Poli and Pedro Obiang have been taken into consideration.
Both players are considered first team regulars at Marassi and have been showing a lot of potential this season.
Milan chiefs will have a perfect opportunity to make a check on the two starlets when Sampdoria host the Rossoneri on Sunday evening.
