AC Milan could be ready to make a move for Mario Balotelli and hope that his current situation at Manchester City will mean he is able to leave for a cut-price, the Sun reports.
Balotelli will face his current employers in an English Premier League tribunal tomorrow after being charged with misconduct and fined £340,000.
The fine relates to the amount of time the Italian spent on the sidelines last year as he was suspended for eleven matches, with City feel is far too many.
Now though, AC Milan are planning to take advantage of this situation and could try and land his signature in the January transfer window.
Although Roberto Mancini has given his striker the backing on several occasions this season, it is though that the hierarchy at Man City are becoming frustrated with his behaviour.
Some reports even suggest that they have urged Mancini to leave him out of the squad during this busy Christmas period.
The Serie A outfit feel as though Balotelli could be a great asset to their squad and believe that January might be the perfect time to sign him as he may be going for what they consider a bargain.
We shall see.
