Milan to offer Robinho in exchange for Damiao

AC Milan are considering a move for Santos striker Leandro Damiao, reports Il Corriere dello Sport.

With Mario Balotelli almost certain to leave this summer, the Rossoneri are in the market for a new striker.

And they seem ready to reignite their interest in Brazilian forward Leandro Damiao, who is valued at around €11 million.

Considering that Santos are again showing interest in Robinho, Milan plan to offer the former Real Madrid star in exchange for Damiao plus another €3m or €4m in cash.

The Rossoneri have been trying to offload Robinho for almost a year now, and this could be a perfect opportunity to do so.

Some strong performances at Internacional have seen Leandro Damiao catch the eye of top European clubs, but he has somewhat struggled since joining Santos in December 2013.

The 24-year-old has since bagged 5 goals in 16 league appearances, while he last played for the national team exactly a year ago.
