AC Milan are closing in on Palermo defender Ezequiel Munoz, according to Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport.
The Rossoneri seem to have identified the Argentine stopper as the man to improve their leaky defence and they have recently made their interest concrete.
Even if Munoz will be out of contract in the summer, AC Milan hope to recruit him in January on a cut-price deal.
Vice-chairman Adriano Galliani has been in contact with Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini as he hopes to persuade the controversial chairman to allow the 24-year-old to move to San Siro.
Ezequiel Munoz began his career at Boca Juniors and went on to sign for the Rosanero in the sumer of 2010. He has since made a total of 129 league appearances for the Renzo Barbera outfit, scoring 4 goals.
His suitors AC Milan sit two points behind Champions League positions and are available at 4/1 for a top 3 finish.
