Milan reignite interest in Lavezzi

Tuttosport has learned that AC Milan are planning a new assault on Paris Saint-Germain forward Ezequiel Lavezzi.

The Rossoneri chiefs all agree that the Argentine would be an excellent addition to the squad at San Siro and the club officials are stepping up their efforts to recruit him in the summer transfer window.

Given the difficult financial situation, Milan first need to cash in on Mario Balotelli before they can bid for Lavezzi, but the Italy international appears to be nearing the exit door.

Meanwhile, PSG may be forced to offload the Argentine after he rejected a new contract offer, especially since they need to ensure they comply with FIFA Financial Fair Play rules.

It is no secret that Lavezzi wants to return to Italian Serie A having struggled to prove his worth in French Ligue 1, with the Argentine showing everyone what he was capable of with some pretty impressive performances at the 2014 World Cup.
