Milan rekindle interest in Pasqual

Il Corriere dello Sport is reporting that AC Milan have reignited their interest in Fiorentina full-back Manuel Pasqual.

The Rossoneri were looking at the experienced defender as they are short of options at left-back, and they are expected to step up their interest now that Mattia De Sciglio has picked up an injury.

The Italy defender could be out for six weeks with a plantar fasciitis, while Cristian Zapata will miss around a month of action.

As a result, Milan are expected to try and agree a deal with Fiorentina for Manuel Pasqual, who is hoping to leave Viola in search of first team football.

The 32-year-old has been a loyal servant at Artemio Franchi for some ten years, but it appears time has come for the two sides to part ways.

While making over 270 Serie A appearances for Fiorentina, Pasqual has earned 9 Italy caps, and has featured in three Euro 2016 qualifiers.
