Italian TV station Sky Sport Italia has learned that Milan are pondering a move for Catania playmaker Francesco Lodi.
The Rossoneri are not exactly spoilt for choices in the centre of the park, especially as Massimo Ambrosini and Antonio Nocerino are tipped to leave in the summer.
Milan are, therefore, weighing up a move for long-term target Francesco Lodi, who could be available for mere €5 million in the summer.
Lodi, 29, was linked to both Inter and Milan in the January transfer window, but he eventually opted to remain at Stadio Angelo Massimino.
The experienced midfielder could be interested in a move to San Siro as this could be his last chance to earn a big club move.
Francesco Lodi has largely impressed at Catania, scoring 18 goals in 83 Serie A appearances for the Elephants. He has registered 6 goals and as many assists in 30 league matches this term.
