Turin-based media outlet Tuttosport has suggested that AC Milan and Inter Milan are showing interest in Roma’s Mattia Destro.
The Rossoneri are on the lookout for a new centre forward, but they seem to have been priced out of a move for FC Porto striker Jackson Martinez.
As a result, they have turned their attention to Giuseppe Meazza graduate Mattia Destro, who could be available for some €20 million.
However, the Rossoneri could face competition from bitter rivals Inter Milan, with Roberto Mancini also looking at the Roma hotshot as he aims to reinforce his attack.
Mattia Destro, 23, is far from happy at playing second fiddle to Francesco Totti and it is believed he would consider leaving Stadio Olimpico in search of first team football.
Having been eliminated from the Champions League, AS Roma can now turn their attention towards Serie A, where they are 9/4 to lift the coveted trophy.
