Milan sign another Italy international

AC Milan have completed the signing of midfielder Antonio Nocerino from Palermo just few minutes before the transfer deadline.

The Rossoneri have shown interest in the Italy international a while back and they decided to act when it was revealed that Mathieu Flamini was set to miss around six months through injury.

Milan managed to wrap up the deal just minutes before the 7 p.m. transfer deadline and the transfer was shortly announced on club’s official website.

The transfer fee was not disclosed but it is believed that the Rossoneri paid just €0.5 million, while giving Palermo co-ownership of youngster Ricardo Ferreira.

The player, who had one year left on his contract at Palermo, signed a five-year deal at San Siro.
